ABOUT US
Troop 1539, Kitsap District, Chief Seattle Council was founded in 1972. We are chartered by Veterans of Foreign Wars, Henry Bryner Post 4992. We are a very active troop. We meet on Mondays at 7:00 PM in the basement of the VFW hall at 9981 Central Valley Road. You can see photos associated with our adventures on SmugMug site (troop1539.smugmug.com). We are very big on the outdoor program, having completed over 20 camp outs past year alone! We feel it is important to give back to our community, towards which we have completed hundreds of hours of service this past year. Our current scoutmaster is Tom Bougan and committee chair is Brian Gill. We are chartered by VFW post 4992, and the number at the hall is 692-4992. EVENT PLANNING
Summer Camps 2026
This year our Troop will have two Summer Camp Activities. The first aimed at our more senior scouts will be Camp Philmont in New Mexico. The second available to all scouts will be Camp Baker in Oregon.
RECRUITMENT
Become a part of our scouting family and embark on a journey of learning, leadership, and camaraderie. We welcome new members and provide guidance and support throughout their scouting journey.
FUNDRAISING
